Great Southern Distilling Company, founded in 2004 was the very first distillery to legally make Single Malt Whisky in Western Australia.
Today, our flagship brand Limeburners is a world-renowned Australian whisky and has become synonymous with premium and super premium quality.
Located on the edge of Princess Royal Harbour, Great Southern Distilling Company leverages Albany’s pristine water, pure air, abundance of local produce and cool marine climate.

Open 7 days a week is Great Southern Distillery's Cellar Door in Albany. Our Cellar Door is located on Frenchman Bay Road, with views overlooking the beautiful Princess Royal Harbour.
Learn about our very own spirits first hand from our expert staff who can guide you through tastings of Limeburners Whisky, Tiger Snake Whiskey, Giniversity Gin as well as our other bespoke spirits.

Porongurup
Our third and newest distillery is located in the breathtaking Porongurup Mountain Range and is the home of Tiger Snake Whiskey.
With wide open space and views of the mountain ranges the distillery makes the most of all the region has to offer.
Drawing on the best local rye, classic grain bill of corn, and malted barley to produce a full-flavoured range of Tiger Snake Whiskies.
